NY Inpatient Psychiatry for Call Coverage

We are looking for a BC/BE psychiatrist with an active NY license for after-hours pager call and consult coverage

Schedule: 5 pm – 8 am EST (Monday – Sunday)
Type of calls: Admission orders, Medication management/ adjustment, NPs asking for physician’s input.

Responsibilities:

– The physician needs to be available to respond to emergency room calls.
– Attend to every consultation that arises with utmost care and attention.
– Prescribing medications and putting in orders for admission.
– All calls need to be promptly attended to.
